After painting Mr T I realised something, you very rarely see paintings of british pop culture icons in this sort of style, Im not sure why, so I thought I would do some.
Here's Tom Baker as Dr Who. I probably won't do the rest of the Doctor's...but I do have a painting of Davros in the early stages which I will come back to.
Expect more UK Pop Culture Icons from me..after this one, I'm doing the Two Ronnies.

Haha this looks awesome! Tom Baker is a legend and this seems to really sum him up for me

I reckon you should do a Brian Blessed painting. Maybe that's just 'cuz I'm gonna be drawing him constantly for the next week and I want someone else to have to do it too

It's a great painting but I hate hate hate doctor who with a passion. It was awful in the 70s, and it's even more atrocious now. Billie Piper needs a slap. She's like a badly-trained horse, in appearance and in acting ability. Awful awful awful. Star wars and star trek also needs to be destroyed and all its affiliates.

/rant over.

But anyway, cool painting. Liking the texture.

Yeah, I assumed :) I'm just not a sci-fi fan in general. I much prefer a nice, possibly dark, cult comedy ie, Nighty Night, Spaced, Look Around You, Ideal, Respectable etc etc
